Brandon Lane wood to be replaced

The Parish Council has received an email from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust notifying us that the Forestry Commission have served a replanting order on the owner of the land at the A45 end of Brandon Lane where the trees and vegetation were ripped out last year. 

The owner has until May 2027 to replant the site with the appropriate tree species and to a suitable stocking density. We're told that this results in tens of thousands of trees. If the owner doesn't comply the Forestry Commission has powers to prosecute. 

Great news for the village and Warwickshire too.
