Village Clean Up Day

Our second village clean up day of the Autumn took place on Saturday 1st November and saw a great turnout of villagers of all ages to help litter pick, clean overgrown areas and plant bulbs. We managed to scrub down the war memorial ready for Remembrance Sunday and you might have also noticed the poppies that have gone up on our lamp posts! We are planning to hold our clean up days on the first Saturday of each month so that we can continue to keep on top of the work that needs doing to keep our village beautiful.
